..Between Dr Mahathir and Michelle Obama..

I went to KL for my routine check up on last Friday. You know the MRI thingy and lots of blood test kind of thing. So later, we went to Carrefoure Wangsa Maju to get a few things namely the RM10 boxes and since there's Nagoya there... we surveyed fabrics for upcoming Eid.

Yer..aku carik kat nagoya jer noks. Sebab itu bukan budget aku.. aku rela jer kan.. walaupun aku tak berapa nak setuju ngan kain yang Kie pilih. Sangat backdated..tp sebagai isteri yang metallic.. aku pasrah dan redha.. Takper akan aku beli baju ready made lepas nih dan alter sejengkal kat kain jer.. uwaaaaaaaa

Ok sudah melalut.. Aku nak citer apa tadik nih??

Ok.. What does Dr Mahathir and Michelle Obama got to do in this story lah weh? Actually after cruzin' around in the K4.. Kie was at hardware isle.. and I was at the book section.. and I came across this book.. by Dr M. Rata-rata dalam blog said that it was sold out in MPH.. and I found it there.. in K4..

I was holding the book against my chest and put in the trolly..when Kie held it and ask it what is the price.. and I said RM100.. and yes.. he was giving me a no no no nod. Faham tak macam mana no no no nod?? Owh only a person who married to one of a kind husband like mine jer tau macam mana jenis kaedah gesture itu...

Uwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Ok back to the topic..

Since aku tak dapat buku Dr M tuh, I settle to the next best in line.. which is the Michelle Obama, First Lady of Hope..

And eventhough the price at the back of the book is US14.95..but I bought the book for RM5!!! And yes.. I was actually wanted to borong the whole section.. tapi kena hati2 gaks.. since banyak book yang ada unsur2 bible bagai.. So I bought that book and another one pasal mix match color yang sesuai untuk rumah.. for RM5 gaks.. I dun know whether there still having the RM5 section or not.. but if they do.. pergilah.. Seronok tengok buku2 mahal yang dijual murah.. and yes it is not a 2nd hand book yaaa...

I've just started reading this book last nite.. But since I was too tired to even flip another page.. makanya ianya telah tamat dalam sedar.. Sebab nak baca Preface jer.. dah 8 pages back to back means 16 pages.. lum lagi Introduction, 5 pages back to back.. dah 10 pages.. font dia adalah size 10 rasanya.. selepas tuh baru lah masuk citer Michelle Obama..

But walaupun aku baru baca Preface dia.. but I totally recomend this book to read.. Sebab?? Overall it's about a Michelle Obama who graduates from Princeton and went to Harvard Law School.. and 1 of the brightest student.. dia still kena tempias being as a black. Orang even her prof and friends masih ada sikap double standard and yes she struggles bukan sebab dia tak bijak.. tapi struggle to proof that she's capable..
Walaupun aku beli for RM5.. but aku tak ralat sebab beli.. And I still want the Dr M book though. :)

p/s: InsyaAllah kalau takder apa aral.. I might get the book by April setelah wang dalam kantungan mencukupi... untuk orang lain RM100 adalah sedikit.. tapi for me to splurge it on my own benefit adalah tidak wajar sama sekali.. sebab RM100 itu boleh spend on other people benefit.. ;) owhhh ko spend beratus on handbags boleh plaks??? itu untuk kejadian bulan mengambang di mana kejadian berlaku dalam tahun lompat sahaja..;p
